Ignatian Prayer and Ignatian Spiritual Exercises are meant to shape and deepen your personal relationship with God. An Ignatian way of praying is one that engages the whole person - heart, mind, soul, and body.
This 3-night, silent retreat is offered twice per year and is rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and directed by an experienced retreat master who provides a series of presentations designed to assist you with your prayer, reflection, and spiritual journey. The Spiritual Exercises are a compilation of meditations, prayers, and contemplative practices developed by St. Ignatius Loyola to help people deepen their relationship with God.
The retreat begins on Friday with check-in between 2:00-4:00 pm, followed by dinner and an introductary seminar, and concludes after lunch on Monday. Throughout the weekend, the schedule includes a series of conferences, exercises, opportunities for the Sacrament or Reconciliation, and private time for reflection and meditation. During the weekend, there are periods of private prayer in which the retreatants may bring into their own spiritual lives the elements discussed within the conferences. Scripture passages are provided for personal prayer and meditation.
Each retreatant will have a private room with ensuite. All meals are included. The cost is $475.00 per person for a private room and $325.00 per person for a shared room (retreatant to locate appropriate roommate where silence can be maintained). The next Ignatian Preached Retreat is scheduled for November 17-20, 2023. Limited spaces available.
