The practice of embarking on a pilgrimage - traveling to a sacred place to seek a divine encounter - is an ancient tradition likely as old as humanity itself. One of the first Christian pilgrimages was undertaken by the Wise Men, individuals who were not yet believers in the Messiah but were aware that something enticed them from their homes and studies. They were uncertain about what they sought and ultimately discovered someone: Christ the Lord.
In this Jubilee Year of Hope, Catholics are invited to make a pilgrimage to a holy site to receive divine favor. Our bishop has designated Our Lady of Perpetual Help Retreat Center as an official pilgrimage site of the Diocese of Venice for the Jubilee.
Come to pray at OLPH during the Jubilee Year and be renewed in hope. We also offer Mass, confessions, and adoration to gain the jubilee indulgence. You can make our outdoor Stations of the Cross or pray a walking Rosary. Our Jubilee Monthly Days of Prayer are a wonderful opportunity to be transformed in the Spirit. ___________________________________________________________________________________
